Occupation Dose Limits
Annual radiation dose limits apply to several occupational groups. The main ones are;
- The General Workforce:
- Nuclear Energy Workers (NEWs), and
- X-ray Workers
Occupational dose limits do not count radiation received due to background radiation, or as a result of radiation received by the Worker as part of medical treatment or examination.
We will only consider General Workforce and X-ray Worker dose limits.
