Regulated Requirements for Lead Arpons
By provincial regulation, the employer of X-ray Workers must provide aprons that protect equivalent to 0.5mm of lead or better, at 150kV.
For reasons unknown, lead aprons sold in Ontario are not safety rated at the Government level, meaning not every apron sold in Ontario meets Ontario specifications. Its very much "Buyer Beware".
